Our Occupational Therapists work with patients to restore their functional movements, agilities, and rehabilitation using these approaches:
• Collaborating with physical and speech therapists in performing functional assessments of each patient. • Evaluating the patients’ needs and wants in order to develop reasonable goals. • Helping restore patients’ affected abilities to the highest possible level of functions, reducing the risk of further impairments, protecting their motor skills, and assisting them regain their previous abilities. • Adapting successful interdisciplinary constructive activities that suit the patients’ physical needs, cognitive capabilities, and interests that maximize their independence, and assist in restoration of functions. • Recommending model of therapies, adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment that will improve patients’ quality of life.
